Cowtown Speedway Hosts 9-11 Memorial and $2,000-to-win Modifieds September 12th
Kennedale TX (9/8/09) by DarinShort.com. Each September, Cowtown Speedway pays tribute to those affected by the events of 9-11 by hosting the 9-11 Memorial capped off with a night of racing action.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, September 12th and will feature a 9-11 Memorial presentation on three giant screens and now $2,000 to win Modifieds plus added purse money in all other classes racing.
For those who have not attended previous 9-11 Memorial events at Cowtown Speedway, you are in store for a night of reflection from that decisive point in American history, and patriotism.
And, the final $1,000 to win, $100 to start Modified special of the season is planned…but with a twist. An additional $1,000 has been added to the winners share, making it $2,000 to win. As with all previously scheduled $1,000 to win modified nights in 2009, there is a $50 entry fee for the Modifieds.
Saturday night also marks the final 2009 appearance of the LSDCC.com Dwarf Cars. Plus, the exciting Winged 600's, Limited Modifieds, Street Stocks and Bombers round out the racing card.
Grandstand tickets prices for adult admission are $15, with $2 for kids and $5 for youth. Advance tickets can be purchased online at the track website with no additional cost for the convenience. Pit passes are $30.
