I am not sure what the heading is referring to. Johnny Gibson kept on announcing that Meyers had never won at Skagit before. I am sure that Johnny couldn't be wrong......wink

Meyers said it himself in the post race interview that he been tryn to win there..Alot of the drivers where lucky to get out of skagit with there teeth still in place..It was pretty dissapointing racing..imho For whats it worth even a few late model guys from thursday show said it was like off roadin..

I believe Schatz will be the happiest to get out of Skagit. He can smell the 14 only 38 points back!

took awhile to get this posted with the trip to knoxville this weekend...but yes...i sure hope he can smell it cause according to "wingnut" this is the time of the year when he just pulls away from everyone in points...i dont think having to come from the B two nights in a row is very impressive...

Well if coming from 21st to 6th, doesn't impress you then you aren't worth impressing, and just a quick look at your avatar one can see that you are a Schatz hater. And after that other post that you made about Schatz, you confirmed that your just a lot of hot air, and not much of a race fan.

Do you have a name? For as much as you run your mouth on here about Schatz, you sure seem to do it in a cowardly manner. Who exactly are you? Or are you gonna hide behind your keyboard like a coward some more?

'ol schaztie got to hang onto his dwindling points lead for another night thanks to the rain. if he is lucky the rain will bless him again before the safety of the gold cup and show up points only for three races. tight little tracks are not donny's forte and the sooner he can get back to the slick flat half miles the better for him. too bad if meyers and others don't get a chance to close in on him more before then to spice things up a bit.

How can people say that Schatz can't run on a bull ring, when he comes from 21st to 6th. Put Myers or Joey back there and see where they end up. And if it were not for the wild child hitting him the night before he would have finished better that nite than he did the following night, and people still say he can't race on bullrings. The track was junk, and he still raced on it. I would say if myers and Joey are better than him, then it will show up when they are all running at the end of the race. I think Joey and Myers are doin very well, and they don't need fans like you rippin on Schatz, when he crashes, if they are really better than him then hope that they are all running at the end of the race and we will see who is the best, and may the best man win. But you can keep your stupid statements to yourself. You have no idea how hard all these teams work on these cars to keep them competative. And to crash and have idiots like you cheer about it, tells us all that you have a lot to learn as a fan.

Of course Shatz is good on bullrings! He is just not the best or as dominating as he is on the bigger tracks.

Look at his results on the West Coast the last few years and this can be confirmed.

Last year he didnt even make the Gold Cup A-Main. Would that ever happen to him at Knoxville? Not likely.

Mr. Shatz is the best winged sprint car driver in the world without question. He just isn't as good on the hooked up bullrings, which is hard to do because he is sooo good anywhere else.
