Spill the beans! The "I know something you don't know" mentality is a bit childish............

the lack of rules, other than safety and state mandated noise rules would be welcome if this was truly a "run what you brung" race. the terms, "run what you brung" and "open race" used back to back are very deceptive. those terms usually mean exactly what you would think they would mean. in this case i don't believe that is true. there are 360 motors out there with aluminum blocks and less than 23 degree heads. i can't find anything that includes or excludes those. it is nice to run around throwing out terms like "run what you brung" and "open race", but when you do that you need to be sure that is exactly what you are offering. all i have seen so far is a non wing 360 sprint car race with no tire or injector rule. if that is true, that's what they should be advertising. they are also hyping mysterious BIG names, yet will not disclose them. wtf is up with that?

If you are in the area and like the traditional cars, just go! They have a decent purse and who know's, it could be a great show. Look at it as a way to support non wing racing up that way.... Seems like kind of a no brainer to me.
At my local track here in AZ the open Comp races have been a big success. It's a fairly flat 3/8th and a restricter and a little weight for the 410's, and we have some close racing and our best crowd's and car count ever.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Petaluma Speedway is not advertising anything but what's on the website at www.petaluma-speedway.com.
Rules and flyer are on the www.petaluma-speedway.com website.
The person who usually does the board posting and hopping from forum to forum (me) has been at Disneyland for a week.
Thanks to Mr. Moose for attempting to hype the show though. It's much appreciated. See you there.
