Cant remember if Larry Dickson was considered an Ohio or WV racer. If Ohio he would make my list at #2

Almost fell out of my chair when the first post didn't have Ferkel's name on it, then thought, he must not be from Ohio. Then read the next posts. Everyone has their own opinion and Ohio has a strong group to chose from but just curious why Ferkel could be left off the list: not a long enuf career or what. I remember that zero car coming to the North Dakota State Fair races in inot way back when. Those races were a treat for a kid living 5 miles from Canadian border. Like our Indianapolis 500. The IMCA stock cars with Ramo Stott, Ernie Derr, Huckerson (first name?), many in the big 426 Hemi, etc. Our Daytona 500.
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

Lets not forget the transplant to Fremont, OH - Frankie Kerr. He might not have been born in Ohio but he's an Ohio driver as much as Hodnett is Posse!
So many more could be on this list, but Ferkel and Hewitt should be at the top. Nobody mentioned Johnny Auxter either!
Former Owner/President of FAST and Black Swamp Media
Group. Currently just another fan in the stands.

Forgot about Kerr, Auxter and Harrison. They definitely need to be included in this discussion.

DARBO....how much do i owe you for that?.....roflmao.....can't believe Brad wasn't put on any of the list....too short of a career is my excuse, but definately one of the best....Greg Wilson is on his way up my list, but my list only contains the drivers that weren't afraid to travel....like the posse,we have MANY great racers that stay on the porch....lol....not trying to start anything either....life's short, play hard

Larry Dickson, Rollie Beale, Hewitt, Ferkel, Haud-All very versatile, wing or non-wing and the first 2 pavement and dirt, all of them good on short track and tracks up to and including miles. Dickson is from Marietta, OH
