ASCS Wing Rules to Stay the Same in 2010
TULSA, Okla. (August 27, 2009) – With this year's racing season entering the latter stages, officials with the American Sprint Car Series have determined that there will be no changes to its existing wing rules for 2010.
Original plans had called for all wings to be flat and square with a one-inch wicker bill for 2010.
However, with several hundred teams potentially affected by any rules change and the prevailing economic conditions, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the sport to leave the existing wing rules in effect for the 2010 season and beyond.
Further, no other technical rule changes are anticipated for the 2010 season.
