Congrats to thr track team at Wilmot. The track was in terrible, wet shape for the needed Friday cancellation, but they worked their butts off for the Saturday Fair show, and it showed. A bit wet still, but all in all, a very, very racy track, and great action. Thanks to all involved for pulling it off. My wife and I had a great time....Anyone know how Ricky Logan is doing?

Thanks, I appreciate that. I always love it when guys from 'out' of town come in to play at my home track, and I tend to watch them a little closer. With that being said, I saw the whole wreck and it was a mean one. I hope he is doing good.

I have it. It is in the heat race video and will be up tomorrow on my YouTube page and the Wilmot Website. I hope Knee surgery is not needed and he gets back to racing soon.

A Facebook update which was posted about 10 hours ago, said, there was no sign of, head, back or neck injury, but he now has a set of crutches and a broken in half kneecap. We wish him a speedy recovery!

O.K. Here's the skinny. Talked to Ricky and he has a broken knee cap as already posted. Supposed to see surgeon tomorrow and will know more then. He also said he plans to run Friday! I was suprised at first but i'll tell you one thing...they don't get much tougher than Ricky. He raced 2 years ago at Farmington 2 weeks after having 2 inches of his small intestine removed with 8 staples still in his side. Last year he finished a close second to Dollansky in the Kele World Challenge with a cracked vertebrae in his neck and with one arm completely numb. Like I said, though he may be lean and soft spoken, he's one tough man. He also said something about being like an elephant.

I believe he's going to be back with the IRA bunch. He also said to tell everybody " Thanks for asking about me. "

Well guys..we have a little change of plans with Ricky! After seeing the surgeon today, Dr's orders are NO RACING THIS WEEKEND OR NEXT! Although he won't be racing for sure this weekend, Ricky did say maybe we'll see someone making their rookie debut as " Smoke Logan " next weekend.
