I'd check www.indianaopenwheel.com for schedules...
Most Indiana(and Eastern) tracks shut down after Labor Day, so you may not find too many racing in September....

October 2nd USAC National Sprints $10,000 to win Lawrenceburg, Indiana
Ocbotber 3rd MSCS Sprints $10,000 To win Lawrenceburg, Indiana
Thats about your best chance to catch some great races. Unless Labor Day weekend you could do the Gas City/ Kokomo or Lawrenceburg/Kokomo. Bloomington is closed that weekend.

Sept. 18th $5K to win MSCS race at Bloomington then the next night at Haubstadt, MSCS will have their 50 lap $10K to win race. Haubstadt is a must see if you've never been there. USAC has a midget race in Columbus, Oh. that Sat. night but there should still be a good field of cars for those races. Kokomo will not be racing that weekend.
Or if you'd like, the following weekend is the 4-Crown at Eldora. Two options on Fri., catch the outlaws at Eldora or the weekly show at Gas City then roll on over to Eldora the next day and night for all three of USAC's divisions. Again no racing at Kokomo on Sun. that weekend.

The 4 crown race @ Eldora is always a great show and for a good price! The best bang for your buck you will find. Probably the best racing @ Eldora all year except The World 100. You can't go wrong with the midgets, sprints, and silver crown cars combined.
