Coming off a rainy Knoxville Nationals that saw him finish 6th in Saturday night's E-Main, 18 year old Springfield, Illinois sprint car racer Jordan Goldesberry looks for a strong finish close to home as the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders roar into action at Jacksonville, Illinois' Morgan County Speedway.
The 2007 Sprint Invaders Rookie of the Year has seen moderate success at the 1/4 mile Morgan County Fairgrounds bullring, with the most recent appearance of the United Boilermaker/ Fibertech Racing/Goodridge Fittings #65 at Morgan County resulting in a 9th place feature finish in non-sanctioned "410" competion on July 31.
