I havn't been to P-ville in a couple of years and I think I heard they made improvements. Have they added any seating? How much? Details if you got em?

Another Pville question. Do they allow pass outs?
Looking forward to the GSC finale. How about a new winner like Evan Suggs, Brandon Carey or Jason Statler!!

The seating is pretty much the same as it always has been so get there early! If you get there by 3-4 you can get your tickets early and save a place in the short line. They do have a new snack bar but try to go there early because the lines get really long and you don't want to miss the races standing in line. They also recently got a score board so it is a great touch! If you sit too far down you will get mud blasted by the red clay so try to sit in the middle. You can't get any closer to the track than you are at P-ville and it is pretty awesome experience!
Oakland Sprint Fan: I am not sure about pass outs since I don't go in the pits. A new winner would be great! I like all of those guys you mentioned in your post!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Thanks for the info. P-ville does ROCK! But they do need more or new seating.

Like Kelly said, there will be a large crowd. In the clip you can see what the seating looks like. There is a fairgrounds mandated $5 parking fee. I think that new seating would be up to the fairgrounds. Looking forward to seeing the new scoreboard. The points series at Pville is sponsored by Red Hawk Casino. That is a few miles west of Placerville at the Red Hawk Parkway exit on Hwy 50. Amazing place. Check it out.............................From HRP website: Location: 100 Placerville Dr. Placerville, CA 95667 - Phone Office Phone: 916.969.7484 ..Track Phone: 530.626.3680.. Track Specs: High-banked, 1/4 mile clay oval... Seating Capacity Approximately 1,600 Grandstand Seating... Years of Operation: 1982 to Present... Directions: Take Hwy US-50 to Forni Road/Placerville Drive exit. Then go north on Placerville Drive to the El Dorado County Fairgrounds.

Yeah they need more seating at Pville. Even a lot of their weekly point shows have been packed. Not sure where else they could extend the seating unless it was into the turns. But I doubt anyone would ever want to sit down there especially with all the dirt that flies at that track.

I went to a WoO race there back in '92, and they had additional grandstands (though small) in turn four, although the pit exit has been changed somewhat since then. They could install some stands where the trees are in turn four though (where this pic was taken) but that would require quite a bit of work.
SUPPORT WILDLIFE, go to a sprint car race!
