OCRS Returns to Outlaw Motor Speedway on Friday
Tulsa, Oklahoma (August 18, 2009) - Outlaw Motor Speedway will host their fourth OCRS event of the season this Friday night at 7:30. The points lead will be on the line as Jamie Passmore holds a slim four-point lead over Matt Sherrell with Danny Smith only nine behind Sherrell in third. Sherrell lost the lead at Outlaw on July 31 when he pulled into the infield with a flat tire and could not finish the race. Friday Sherrell will get his chance to wrestle the lead back from defending champion Passmore. In three visits to the Muskogee area track Danny Smith, Sherrell and Mike Goodman have scored victories. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 81 Speedway Back on Schedule, Enid Now is Official
Tulsa, Oklahoma (August 18, 2009) - The OCRS race originally scheduled for Sept. 5 at 81 Speedway and then cancelled is now back on for October 3. The OCRS will race with the 305 sprints as part of the Park City Motorfest. This will be the first visit ever to C. Ray Hall's 3/8's mile facility and is a great opportunity for the OCRS. Officials at 81 Speedway are excited to have the OCRS visit and have already announced the event on their weekly radio show. We are hoping for a good car count at this event. The two-day season finale at Enid Speedway Park is now official as the tentative has now been removed from the date. More details on both of these events will be posted as they become available.
