Would like to congratulate my buddies Paul Silva and Shane Stewart on a pretty stout Nationals. For a no money team compared to most they did an awsome job!

IMO, Shane is one of the top 5 drivers in the country. Has been for a few years. He just needs someone with money to get behind him. Especially Shane and Silva together. Shane has been in the top 10 of the Nationals 4 out of the last 7 years while driving for 5 different teams in that span. And it could have been better in 2007 and 2008 if his car would have held together for him. The guy can drive. As for the so called incident with the 20 car on the last lap, it looked like hard nosed racing to me. You have a guy racing to put food on the table and a another guy who isn't. Came down to who was hungrier and a better driver if you ask me.

I agree! Shane is one of the most underrated 410 drivers out there. Shane put on a great show for the fans, and showed his talent by passing Kraig and blocking the King cleanly! Going from 14th to 5th Atta boy Shane!!!

I've been a fan of Shane for a long time now. It's great to see him do well in the big show. Congrats! I got a case of beer out of it!
What are the plans for the rest of the year and do you guys (Bus House Gang) still help him at all?

We paid for some of the fuel this year on the 57 car. Not sure what the total was but I assume it was around $300 or more if everyone donated what the said they would. We had a BHG decal on the bottom corner right side panel if you look real close. Brian Brown also had a BHG decal on his car for us. He even put it on the car with his new t-shirts which is way cool. Brian and Shane are both really good with all of our kids as well, great pair of fellas there we associate with. They have no idea how much our kids look up to them.

Yeah.... all he did was pass Donny Schatz last year to win a WoO show at Knoxville in that car. Had mechanical woes that put him 20th in the Nationals a year ago unfortunately. Seemed like after they trashed the car at the 2008 Royal they never recovered. Too bad Roth wasn't more patient with him, and a lot of other drivers for that matter. TK is a good fit in that car though it seems.

Shane would make a great teammate for Donny. He already has the last name.

Sorry to revamp an old thread - but it looks like Shane has a new great looking web site out. Looks to still be under construction, but it does list t-shirt and other merchandise available.

Great run for Shane at the Nats. He is so sneaky, he just made his way up through there without being noticed for awhile. Great job.
