I agree john has done a great job with the track and racing surface. But that ten pill is an absolute joke. No matter how you look at it who ever sets quick time is penalized. The ten has come up over and over this year. you should at least drop the ten and add a 0 or even run a dash, but changes should be made, this ridiculous. There should be some incentive for fast time, john should understand this he races. I been doing this for several years and with quality of drivers and teams starting tenth and winning on a fast track is going to be pretty tough. My point in short give is give fast time a shot at a good starting spot instead of putting him halfway back in the field.

put (2) 4 pills and (2) 6 pills in the mix and increase odds of decent pick for everyone.

John i think you should go old school and invert the whole Field and give the low-dollar teams a chance at some $ like it used to be and at the same time increase the excitement levels for the fans theres nothing more exciting than watching a talented driver in a good car come from the back---ya old school used to pack the stands------and for those thinking thats not fair well life isn't fair grow up and get over it

Good idea lets watch all the good guys sand bag qualifying. Why is there no points for qualifying? There are points for the heat races so the fast qualifiers get penalized in their heats as well as the main.

I thought this thread was about the track conditions. Wasn't there already a thread about inverts?

First race I saw at Watsonville/Ocean was in 1978. Over the years there weren't too many changes or upgrades. The last few years with the exception of getting rid of the figure 8 track, all the changes have been for the better. Each time I've been there it's be an organized and well run show.

Keep it up Ocean.
