Is there still two weekends in October that are open? The WoO schedule just does not list anything for the weekends of the 16 & 17 as well as the 30 & 31. Lonestar Speedway has been added for the weekend of the 24th. I thought October was usually booked for the most part. Just wondering why it is not this year.

The original schedule has the 2nd and the 3th as the only day they race. The rest of the month was wide open until like you said they scheduled lonestar speedway for the 24th. That would give them two week or so off before the world finals in charlotte. Many tracks are close for the season by this time so if they schedule anymore races it would be surprising. I would love to see them at some track close to me i do know that.

In years past, they would have gone back to California for a few weekends, but the teams were concerned with the costs involved of a cross country trip, so they eliminated that.

Hopefully they will keep the weekend of the 30th/31st open so some of them can race at the Short Track Nationals at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock like they did last year.

Maybe they can come up to Canada again. Do sprint car engines have block heaters?? Does Hoosier make a snow tire??
