well, I aint a McCarl fan,,that is for sure, but to call what he is doing Cherry Pickin is pretty ridiculous. The WoO have driven away at least one very good owner so far this year, might be 2 or more... I am guessing that is what you are considering the "big boys"....

One thread goes on and on about how we should get back to "the good ol' days" and have true outlaws, running where the winds and best paydays take them and then the next thread calls someone who does that "cherry picking". What the h___?
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

He has a very good chance to win the 360 tonight.
410 next week, he's going to be right there.
He's the best thing to happin in sprint car racing this year in the mid west!

If you took all of your sprint car knowledge, put it in a thimble, there would still be room for your thumb.
Have a good day

Your a idiot! Mccarl has 13 wins total this season including 2 WoO wins, (night be for royal was one of those), he has beat the All stars mulitple times. Several Knoxville wins, including last nights 360 Nationals win. But yeah he can not run with the big boys.
Where is Bill W on this thread?!

What some call cherry picking, others would call remaining financially viable in this ecomony. Make just as much money without the extra travel expense of living on the road.

Thank you for this thread, everyone.
I now know that Jan Opperman & Kenny Weld in the 70's, Doug Wolfgang in some tremendous Weikert years, Wolfie in that one fraud-funded DP year, Mr.Jimmy Boyd, 1st WoO A main winner... they were simply cherry pickers. Talk about a revision of history! Now I know the truth! LOL
Something I see all the time in this forum... I try to laugh it off and generally log off instead. When you call someone an idiot or stupid... please spell your words correctly and use proper grammar. Your point gets lost in hypocrisy.
YOUR IS DUMB, for example.
It's obvious everyone just can't get along... too much pride, ego, etc. I love the respectful debates; they're fun. The name calling crap... give it a rest already, Keyboard Commando! I like the idea of not typing out anything in here that you wouldn't say to someone's face. Darn fine rule. Anyone that says they would cuss you out or call you names to your face... freaking liars. They're probably 5'2 and 145 soaking wet. Gotta feel big somehow.
With that in mind... Go Terry McCarl!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you finish 2nd to Mr. Wright tonight! (not likely... TMac should have the 9x covered)
