This was on IBRACN.com and was curious if any one had any more information on this?
I'm hearing that Dennis Roth is putting together a non-wing sprint car for Kevin Swindell to drive at the USAC sprint car race at Knoxville Raceway this Sunday and again at the Ultimate Challenge in Oskaloosa on Tuesday. Also, depending on how things go, they may put a wing on the car for the Knoxville Nationals with the younger Swindell driving

Raced most of the USAC Midget schedule with Keith Kunz. That just stopped.
Raced a little for Tom Rolfe in USAC Sprint Car stuff early in the season.
Ran a couple USAC Sprint Car races for Jack Yeley.
Ran one Busch East race, at Loudon.

His run from last to 3rd last year at Oval Nats were awesome! He is one of the best young drivers out there, without a full time ride.
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

That's good news for race fans! BRR is right... he gave DD a run for his money last year.

If Roth wanted to have an interest in Saturday's feature, that is having one of his cars racing in it, he should have stuck a guy whose made the last 4 Saturday A's who is still not on the entry list.

Well Jason had his shot in Cali with the 83jr and sadly didn't do shit. After his last ride in the car at Chico I told him I hoped that he had better luck and that his results shouldn't reflect on his skill level. Also the races Kevin will be in will be non-wing races, not sure when the last time Jason was in a non wing car.
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

I wonder if Roth will let Tim take off the wings for those two shows as well.

The last word that I got and that was a couple weeks ago, they are going to bring the jr car for Tim to run at osky and Kevin to run the non winged show....No plans on running the jr car at the nationals. Remember, things change

Good for Kevin, should bring some excitement to those events. That guy is just plain fun to watch, love the aggressiveness, and rawness he brings to the track.

He most likely will. He drive the 83jr car last year in the Osky race.

Haha as much as I like to bash Kevin, I won't here on this thread. So what happened with the ride in the Rolfe car? Have to say he ran really strong in that car.

You bet he was; He won the Western World and came in second at the Copper on Dirt on Manzy's big 1/2, and he also won the Louie Vermeil Classic on Calistogas big track.
