on such a great week of shows why drive that far for just one night, the night before with the wing 360s and 410s one of the best nights of year in racing for sure,
back to the car count, boy who knows, Osky used to get around 50 cars but that was for 30K to win and with that purse and this one both lower, would imagine many less would take wings off, but would expect 30 perhaps 50

I see a listing for pre-entries for the other shows but not for the non-wing. Am I missing something?
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

Pre-entering for this event is not required...I am assuming kville web-site is using the same computer sheet that they use for the 360 and 410 Nationals..that is why it has the pre-entry posting with no one listed ( yeah..there are only gonna be one or two cars show..) ..I would assume USAC will bring their 20 or so cars with 10-20 others...Herrerra, Droud, Hockett, and I think McCarl are planning on running it...I would expect 30 or so cars...305 winged cars are also running that night I think...OK, Does anybody have any information from the non-USAC cars that are planning on attending...start posting it on here...

had not notcied the 305s were going to be running, surprised USUK lets that happen as the 305 might be 2-3 seconds faster

Whats your problem? If you dont like non wing racing or USAC or whatever.... dont go! I just dont understand your constant wanking on this subject everytime it gets brought up. You like watching winged racing, we get that. Some of us are just plain SPRINT CAR fans no matter if they are winged or not. I think the USAC deal is gonna open a whole bunch of eyes to the quality of side by side racing that is produced by the non wingers. Who f-ing cares if they are a few seconds slower, there will be a ton of action to watch and and all of the winged cars speed rarely if ever produces better racing. Winged cars on small tracks=ACTION. Winged cars on big tracks=single line freight train racing. You really outta get out more often and see the world around you.
Cheers!

Couldn't agree more Henry! The USAC IN Sprintweek race at Kamp this year was one of the best races I've ever seen... winged or nonwinged! Four awesome heat races, great B-Main, and then in the A-Main, three-wide for the lead going into turn three on the last lap... photo finish. If the Dunkins give the nonwing boys a tacky racetrack, it'll be a helluva show. Also... 410 winged sprints, 305 winged sprints, and nonwing sprints are three completely different things.

LOL henry, you OK?
Yes i do not really like usac, they are one of the oldest organizations for sprint cars, and yet have not seemed to help it grow or expand, in fact I think somehow even hurt them.
Much like the bellville show, osky use to have many cars and now that it is usac seeing fewer cars, the purse for the usac cars is a shame also,

I hope for the people there it is a good race, I went to Shumans deal there 7 or 8 years ago I believe and it was probably the worst race(s) in the history of the world... then had to drive 6 hours home... just gonna do Osky as that is the start of the week for me

When has Knoxville EVER had a good race on a tacky track? I like you but you're crazy.

When the SCRA was there with Shuman the track was dry slick, that's why it was such a boring show. If they can give them a heavy tacky track hold onto your hat, because it's going to be good. Maybe you just haven't ever seen them on a well prepared track for a non wing car.
