...THANK YOU to Palm Harbor Homes, Skyvue Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens and Ace's High Ltd for their support of short track racing at Cowtown Speedway on July 25.

The fans, teams and the race track really appreciate it!

George White held off a hard charging Marvin Lough to win the 25-lap $1,200 to win sprint car feature.

And the race fans weren't left out of the winners circle.

Several fans spun the Palm Harbor Homes prize wheel and won prizes ranging from
www.lang14.com t-shirts, stadium seats, coolers, $25, $50; and when all of the spinning stopped, one lucky lady from Haltom City won a whopping $1,105 in the 50/50 super jackpot.

Be watching
www.racing.PalmHarbor.com in the next few days and you can see her victory celebration on video. She looked as if she just won both showcases on the Price Is Right. It was a lot of fun.

And one fan, who preferred to remain anonymous, won $25 on the Palm Harbor prize wheel and donated their winnings to the Winged 600 Hard Charger Award.

Results will be posted at
www.CowtownSpeedway.com when they become available.

Next up at Cowtown Speedway is the long awaited Limited Modified Cowtown Challenge, which will pay the feature winner in excess of $1,000 plus a Cowtown Challenge Bonus fund of easily $1,000 and possibly up to $3,000 - or more. Details of this exciting promotion are on the track website and will be updated at the Bonus number grows up until race time on Saturday. The winged 600's, street stocks, bombers and modifieds will be on hand.

Also, the third scheduled demo derby of 2009 will round out the racing action.

THANK YOU once again to the sponsors and the fans for another night of fun and action and we'll see you next weekend at the Limited Modified Cowtown Challenge!

PS: Technically, the winner of the 50/50 only left with $1,085; as they gave the youngster that drew their ticket a crisp $20 bill!
