Scott and Bruce need to make room on the podium for a new race calling star. Naylor was out of town last nite, so Jammy took over the mike and did a good job. For the sprint car feature Blake Miller, aka "Bullit", called the race. Knowledgeable, funny, witty, stirring up the fans, was terrific. If this race car thing does'nt work out, he has a future in communication. Obviously he has learned well from the masters, Scott and Bruce. Oh and Mr, Excitement Jimmy Naylor. Blake and Kruser did not race. Kruser drove the water truck and had the Modifieds sloshing arounnd for their hot laps and they had to pull off till the track dried. A rough track most of the nite, but great racing nevertheless. Give Kruser a 7 on track maintenance, altho he's a 10 on racing. Great modified show as always. Expect 40 or so modifieds for the fair race, should be an outatanding show. Once again Kevin "anybody but Kierce" prevailed over young Cody Kershaw and took another first. Cody led for 2/3 of the race with his dad jumping up and down in the stands cheering him on. This guy will win some races. The track smoothed out a little bit, but still rough. As my pal ol' Hotlaps Bogan opined, sometimes a rough track makes for more exciting racing and last nite was a barn burner.
