Last week saw Goldesberry Motorsports compete in the Hawkeye State in both 360 and 410 competition. Wednesday saw Jordan competing with the World of Outlaws at West Burlington, Iowa's 34 Raceway. After finishing 8th in the B-main, the transporter headed towards the Cedar County Raceway to compete with the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders. However, the transporter itself wasn't as cooperative, as two blown tires on the hauler nearly forced the Springfield, Illinois driver to miss the race. Assistance from Pearl City Tire and Towing made it possible for the team to get to the track in time to start tailback in the Huston Land Improvement thrid heat race. Starting 18th in the 25 lap A-main, Jordan pushed the Goldesberry Signs and Designs/United Boilermaker/Champion Awards and More #65 forward, getting into the top 10 before ultimately salvaging a 13th place finish from a tough evening.
Friday evening once again saw the team competing with the Invaders, this time at southeastern Iowa's Lee County Speedway. But once again, the 18-year old Illinois driver would have to start his evening from the back of his heat race, although this time becase of a poor pill draw. After working his way up to 3rd in the Huston Land Improvement third heat race, Jordan would start the A-main from the inside of the 5th row. He would ultimately finish 7th.
This weekend will see Jordan back in 410 competition at Knoxville Raceway on Saturday, and in 360 competition with the Sprint Invaders on Sunday at Quincy Raceway in Quincy, Illinois.
