20-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Champion Steve Kinser of Bloomington, IN joined Dirt Cast to talk about his start to the 2009 season, the Brad Doty Classic, why it has become a must win, Brad Doty as a competitor, the 2009 points chase, his consistency, his string of back luck that relegated him out of the point lead, the WoO racing format, having to pick it up in qualifying, the chances of him picking up his 21st championship, what it will take, his success in the Kings Royal, how he approaches these marquee events, his thoughts on the status of the Kings Royal compared to the Knoxville Nationals and his fondness for Eldora Speedway.
