Rumor has it that there was a fight between members of the 56 and 21 limited mods. Also that the track promoter was present and allowed it to happen. Wow! Gonna bet that noone got barred. People sure miss alot of what goes on when we sit in the stands.

Nah they didn't fight they exchanged words loudly no punches thrown I mean in the 56 case I would be a little upset if the same guy ran over me in the heat and feature

Not taking sides or trying to start anything, but there was a fight after the races, punches were thrown and they went to the ground. I was standing in the pits when it happened. I was told one was the 56 cars dad and the other what looked to be an indian guy.

I think it should be stagged like wwe. Keeps fans looking keeps drivers on there toes and makes for good entertanment. Just like when someone flips a car you dont want it to happen and you sure hope no one gets hurt. But usually the stands are a little fuller the next week.More fans make better races and more cars.More cars and better races make more FANS.

Just my 1cent cause im BROKE

It did not happen down there, it was way after the races were done and they got in to it in front of the South pit stands

Well I went and watched the video from thrillerphoto and it looks like the 21 car did slide up into the 56 in the feature but if you watch the heat race the 21 also slides up the track with noone around him, but what I don't get is the move the 56 tired to make on the 21. Was he trying to take him out? If that was the case he did a horrible job and ended up tearing his car up. They should give out a Homer Simpson Award to this guy for a smooth move.

Don't get me wrong. What i was getting at was though the 21 did run into the 56 maybe it was a handling problem on the 21 and just happened that the 56 was around him. That's all. But still don't know if the promoter was around for the fight.

I know the promoter came over there when they was at their trailers but he didn't have to bar anyone at that time noone fought they just kept them apart while they argued. But no fighting then just alot of yelling I was told no fighting happened after the races but don't know for sure.

There are exceptions of course based on driver ability, but I always find it interesting when local track drivers, competing on a surface that is challenging for even the most hardened veterans, get real ticked off when someone loses control of a heavy, ill-handling and often home-built car.

A lot of people stay away from race tracks because they believe this kind of activity to be commonplace. Each time it occurs, it only perpetuates that notion and, in turn, keeps a few more people away from the sport.

Among the general public, there is no bigger advocate or fan of dirt-track racing than me. I am sick and tired of other people looking down their noses at this sport, and am even more tired of those who keep giving those same people a reason to look down on us.

What is really sad is when a promoter at one track gets caught cheating at the track he races at, and doesn't get penilized!!!
