speedway go karts at ventura this weekend 7-11-09 12pm class KT100 open pipe no wings no jack shafts no slicks burris dirt tires only ss22 or qrc3 right rear come out and have some fun this is were most of your sprint car drivers got there feet wet .for more info call me at 209-241-9343 bill didion

Are the carts at 12 o'clock? Heck the pit gates don't even open till 12. The public at 3.

yes the pit gates will be open for go karts at 11pm racing starts at 12pm we should be dune by 2pm allso there will be no offset karts aloud must be strait rail karts they had 12 karts at there last race should be 20 at this one im bringing 2 all the way from modesto ca

You prob shouldnt call them speedway karts in ventura if you dont allow offsets and only kt100 im also in modesto and would go down there but im a true dirt speedway kart guy that runs a offest and a yahmaha ohv motor so i guess i will stick to racing hanford and tulare.
Speedway karts= oval racing offest chassis
Road Racing = Straight rail karts

I've been seriously kicking around the idea of buying one of these things but stuff like this makes me wonder if the people are fun to race with. It's a fricken go-kart fer crissakes.

Rich, yes, the same level of political BS exists in (and has ruined) organized karting as w/ sprint cars. Bill, if you want this thing to grow you need to open things up a bit. The big limiter is going to be the (rough) sprint car track (these karts have no suspension) not 2 inches of off-set in a speedway kart chassis.

wow thank you all for your responce on the speedway go karts at ventura .the turn out was great we had 21 karts show up some asphalt karts with dirt tires on them and some ture speedway go karts like mine i started messing around with speedway karts in 1989 offset kart chassis didn't even come out untill 1998 so callem what you want i ran my 1984 proline chassis and finished 2nd to chris gibb who ran his 1990 dominator speedway go kart ..the rules are simple ..1 no offset chassis 2 no wings .3 no jack shafts 4burris dirt tires only tx22 or qrc3 5 most have fun or stay home.. it was alot of fun cory led it for about 5 laps and then spun out all by him self ....and the rest was history..any question call me 204-241-9343 bill didion

wow new track for speedway go karts and offset chassis welcome..delta speedway in Stockton cal will be putting on outlaw karts and go kart racing starting 8-1-09 there will be 2 dates per month i know one class will be kt100s with open pipes and after 2 races there will be a tire rule weight will be 350lb then there should be a Jr class and a cadge kart class and 500cc outlaw karts when i have more details i will post them.
