is trying to reschedule an outlaw show for later this summer or fall. I heard they were trying to book a September date. Man I hope this is true, not seeing the outlaws on Husets highbanks for an entire year would be messed up.

Wednesday, September 16 is the Spencer race and that weekend after is currently available for Huset's (or anyone) to pick it up and have them in the very near region. I was also told that sometime in September would be the date, so my guess is that the Outlaws are trying to have another track in the area pick up the other weekend night to keep them in the area.

They should have it on Saturday September 19th. Huset's has the Cheaters Race scheduled that night, but not too many show up for that race anymore. (fans or race cars)

Big J that date would not be available for just "anyone" to pick it up. Trust me on that.

Whoooo, if you are trying to compare Cameron to Jackson, slow down bud. Been to both places and there is no way I would choose to go to Jackson over Cameron for an outlaw show now. Cameron was like throwing 24 sprinters in a blender and hitting the power button.....incredible and now on my yearly list.

Almost ANY bullring is better than almost ANY half for an outlaw show. I think ginelmore's point is that the seating capacity at Jackson should suffice for a WoO show if US 36's stands are big enough.

Hey Jon you working on something we don't know about? The last time the WOO was at Jackson I believe it was standing room only, I know the damn seat lines are paintet way to close togather. It would be great to see a WOO show at Jackson again.

Been a few yrs since I've been to Jackson but what that track needs is for turns 1&2 to get a fence around them and get graded and widened out to be exactly like turns 3&4. That flat bottom around turns 1&2 made for a 1 lane track almost every time I've ever been there.
That and some new Musco lighting would make that a really nice track.
I hope that the lighting has been updated by now though, when the lights go off sporadically while there are cars on the track it is time to do some fixing.

Jackson may have Musco lighting now but as of 4 or 5 yrs ago it did not.
That is the last time I was there and if that was Musco lighting they shouldn't have paid for it.

"if that was Musco lighting they shouldn't have paid for it."
Still applies. Maybe they should have paid Musco to install more lighting and had the whole place rewired at the same time.
If you say so I won't argue but if Jackson hasn't made any significant lighting improvements in the last 5 yrs I can see one reason why the WoO wouldn't want to go back there.
When the lights are going off (no the power was still on at the track) during a race improvements are needed. I've only been to Jackson ~10 times total but there was for sure 3 different nights that I was there with lights going off.

Kooks I won't argue with on the need for more lights it would help alot . I think some rewiring was done but it all comes down to $$$$ As for the woo race its more being on the sh!! list (ps) Jacksons lighting is better than A lot of tracks I've been to and I've been to Alot in my 52 years
