Just curious if the track ended up with new clay being brought in or if they just cut it down to old surface. I did like the shaping of the track with the new dirt, just not the new dirt...
GO ALLARD!!!!!!

To quote an ACDC song, as of now the track is Back in Black
The clay has returned..as far as the shape I think people will have to judge for themselves...

Track prep should take place long before noon on the date of a race, and if so, they wouldn't have had this "bullshiot" taking place. How come during the week prior to the cancellation most if not all of the work that is or has taken place wasn't done? Some friends were planning on spending what little vacation time they will get to enjoy this summer, attending Chico and Roseville the following day, only to arrive to this B.S. They had called the track on Thursday, to get info about a cheap room near the track, and were happy to have been pointed in the right direction reguarding the necesary lodging. But would dam sure have been receptive to any info reguarding the possibility of a cancelation, before travelling from Arizona!

I know that Robbie will curse me for saying this, but, the old promoter would not have cancelled the show until everyone was in the pits.

The track was vintage Chico, dark clay, very fast, smooth, and not a speck of dust in the air.
The surface that was raced on two times is now piled in the parking lot outside the pit gate.

Some dust in the gandstands...there must have been a breeeze blowing it in and away from the pits.
Way to go BK!! 87 wins, just awesome.
Thanks Alan for trying to make the track better.
Sorry, but I can't let this go: MJ?? Really? The one song by the boss was good though.

Yes, a real thanks to Alan for getting things back to normal.......I know it was appreciated by all.
Michael Jackson music in the grandstands? Makes me real glad there are no speakers in the pits.
