You're moving back to NY Don? I remember you telling me you were from there when we were in the box at Black Rock covering the first 360 Nationals years ago.

Wow, I didn't know they were worth that much. I have that exact Schatz car, autographed, and I was thinking of selling it for less than that during the Nationals.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

With all due respect to Don, and to collectors everywhere, die-casts are worth what someone wants to pay for them, not the value(price) that the seller sets for them.
While I hope that Don gets as much as he can from them, I know the my past investigations on ebay and a few other places tell me that the prices will be lower than what he;s asking.
And if he's successful, let us know. I've got a full set of GMP vintage sprint cars, most in their original shipping boxes, that I'd be glad to sell for a cool grand, too!
