On a hot, dry Central Valley Saturday night, Brent Kaeding
was able to fight off a difficult Golden State Challenge sprint car field and a
tire-eating track to win his fourth straight Pombo Sargent Classic at the
Tulare Thunderbowl. Jonathan Allard came from the back of the pack to third to hold
onto his series points lead.
