Thanks to All that participated in awarding Mr. and Mrs. Gaddis. If you could have only seen their eyes light up. It was worth a ton in gold. And even better their son Kevin was there to enjoy the presentation.

I would also like to thank the presenters: Harold Leep Sr., and Steve Foster. Also Special Thanks to: Alice, Wendy Chapa,Connie Root, Brian Ward, Lanny, Beverly, and Marcy.

From my understanding Mr. and Mrs. Gaddis now have a Lifetime Pass into State Fair Speedway. (per) Lanny.

that was a really cool thing you/ya'll did Unc. Around what year was it did they get in/start goin to dirt track races?

Their son Kevin (pictured right) is about the same age as me. But John & Gladys Mae Gaddis as the award says have seen more and have had more favourite Drivers for more than half a Century. Gladys Mae, recently told me a story about John's dad Mr. Gaddis taking the family to the local dirt track on the back of Mr. Gaddis's (John's father's) flat bed pick-up. Only to have mud and dirt clods thrown at them.

She said "Mr. Gaddis (John's Dad) stepped off that truck and shook that boy to beat the band" and said..... don't you throw them dirt clods at my kids. That little boy that Mr. Gaddis (John's Dad)was shaken was Butch Roberts. I know that back in those times that was the mentality of most.

I'm just proud to be able to present these loyal and dedicated fans their "Due Reward".

Very nice tribute to great fans.A well deserved honor.
