If someone does not give Jon the "Promoter of the Year" award there is something drastically wrong with the system....... I don't know of any promoter,, yes PROMOTER, not race track operator, that works as hard as Jon at Jackson Speedway at trying new promotions,,,
Atta Boy Jon,,,,,

I don't know what he's smoking or ingesting but it must be some good stuff. Like the way you are creating new ways to put butts in the stands and not trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to a side show at the races. People want to see racing when they go to the races and your creative promotions to build your crowd are pretty impressive. Nice job!!!

Not only are you doing a great job at putting fans in the stands Jon, but your car counts have been good this year. THEE BEST CONCESSION FOOD HANDS DOWN!!! And the best deal on a bucket of beer among the local tracks! Always lots of lucky program # give aways, he's also got one of the best announcers in the biz, Shawn Neistedt (sp?). It's a win/win deal to go to Jackson Speedway, thanks Jon!!!!

Thanks for the kind words, But its my wife you that is the driving force! She said this is your last year to make this ............ Track work, or else I am done (or divorced). And I don't want to get divorced and don't want to quit.
Anyway.......
We will also be helping to raise some money for Lyle Sathoff who is a local B Mod Racer from Armstrong, IA who was severely burned last week.
Come out and support "Lyle's Race to Recovery" this Saturday, June 20th at the Emmet County Night at Jackson Speedway.
We'll be having a raffle to win a some fun prizes, a donation bucket, plus they'll be selling t-shirts and decals to raise money for Lyle.
Make sure to check out the website: www.caringbridge.org/visit/lylesathoff to stay updated. We look forward to seeing you at the races! Remember, if you're from Emmet County...you can get in FREE!
