Spotted him at Suzie's in Calistoga last year during the non-wing weekend. He was hanging with another pretty good driver...Jimmy Sills.

the last i seen jimmy was at chili bowl,and before that he was at calistoga for the usac show.

i knew jimmy when he lived in redding calif. helped him a little in the super mod days when he was just starting. great guy and his brother john was ok too

He lived in San Jose at one time and worked for the Peterbuilt dealer as a mechanic. At that time he was running sprint cars in Cali and the midwest.
I also remember him racing midgets indoors at the Santa Rosa fairgrounds.
