2 of the top modified drivers in track points are guaranteed starting spots at Tri-State because the top 2 in track points who don't make the show through qualifying get provisionals. Last year, local racers Larry Campbell and Brandon Henry raced their way into the show. No provisional needed! Campbell started on the pole and finished 4th in the A! Tim Adams, Brent Holman and Brandon Watts missed the A by 2 spots each in their B. George Martin, Lonnie Robbins and Jason Teague all missed 3 spots and Lee Walchi missed by 4.
Also, Fast Shafts has added an extra $100 if you can win with a nine-inch Ford rearend. If no one does it, it'll roll over to $200 for I-30 on Wednesday. Here's the unofficial top ten in Modified points from Tri-State's web site.
