Just wondering what time the A Feature was over? I haven't been back to Watsonville Speedway after being there twice this season and having the Sprint A Mains shortened by the 11pm curfew both times! Not only did we not see the whole race but it was rather cold both nights as well. I just won't go to a track that keeps us there until 11pm and not see all of the Sprint races. Unfortunately many folks left before the curfew both nights I attended and the speedway is just going to keep losing fans if they can't speed up the program. I won't return until I know that I'll see what I paid for and get out of there hopefully well before the 11pm curfew. I have a feeling quite a few folks may feel the same, so maybe they are trying to get all the races in or something lately? It's too bad because the track has done so many positive things and the racing has been better than ever, but it sure takes all night and then some to get all the racing in, if they can?
Did they run the Sprint Feature before all the support classes? Just wondering what time the Sprint Cars were done? Thanks

this was a 3-division event. it was over about 10pm. I am gonna edit this but its first response. Need to gather the reflections.
EDIT---
First off, Congrats to Kyle Larson for his first GSC win and Michael Dalton for his first modified win!
Got there late, missed qualifying. But nice job Peter on quick time!
Man was the track fast! Top to bottom. The heats were great, especially Walkers drive in heat 3. Even Scadden agreed with me.
The modifieds had track champ Kenny Nott coming from 8th spot. Being the resident master, he and Dalton paired on a drive to the lead. Nott was all over the kid. Clean and calm, coming off turn four, Dalton on the high side they crossed the line with Dalton ahead by not more than 4 feet.
Out of the car, Dalton went straight for the fence and gave the Ocean Speedway crowd a dose of Helio! They went sideways, lol.
In the GSC A Main, Furr was the show for the first half of the race. From scratch on the field, he was mid pack by lap 12. Meanwhile up front, Larson led from the start and for the most part won this thing the same way many more before him have. Protect on the restarts and open it up and hope for a caution just as ya hit traffic. It played his way, and he got his first win amongst some seriously heavy hitters.
Statler Report:
Ran second all night, very fast! Had the car no question. I would love to put a radar gun on him and a few others on the backstretch. 140? The lap 30 going for the lead flip wins my "win it or wear it award"
Wow, what a great night of racing.

boy it is a good thing you live in cali and not SD! bring a coat. curfew? wtf is a curfew? lots of places run 'em till they are done. rain delays, red flags, track re-working it all happens. people make the most of it. i understand you being upset with not getting the full race in before the track has to shut down for the night, but if you know they could be running till a certain time you should be prepared to be there till then. you poor thing, at least for your sake the curfew puts you out of your misery. i have a friend who goes out there and if i am not mistaken one of those races that were called early was called well before the curfew. that would have pissed me the most. from what i have heard it sounds like you missed a hell of a race that got over soon. just what you were asking for. too bad you missed it. you must really hate baseball, they have no time limits.

the thing I forgot to add was that when the cd wouldnt behave, the crowd sang the nathional anthem a-capella. Never done that before.
I always sing to my self quietly and of course off key, lmao. That was fun too. There were some people around me that could carry the notes and did very well.
