Great run by Dale Blaney to take care of the Outlaws on what really ends up being a "home track" race for Dale. Great job by the "Tall Cool One"!

As a long time outlaw fan, I continue to be amazed at the lack of performance of the WoO regulars. I cherish my memories and video tapes of 80s and 90s races. The people and equipment the WoO had for a long time was as cool as anywhere in the world. Not anymore.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Congrats to Blaney and the "All-Stars" for beating the Outlaws. They ALMOST beat them as bad as the Posse did two weeks ago!!

...Dale Blaney recently said on a local radio show, "when George Fisher rolls his car out behind that trailer, its one of the best in the country !"...tonight they proved it !...
...congratulations to all the Ohio drivers/car owners...you should be proud...13 (not including Haud) of the 24 that actually qualified for the A main...NO PROVISIONALS NEEDED !...

Not to take anything away from Blaney but the 15 had them covered, led 20 laps and a lap car got together with him and Lee Jacobs collected him. Do you guys ever really follow the races. I know you have to finish to win but you make sound like Schatz wasn't even in the race, and none of you ever mentioned him, had it not bin for some bad luck he would have dominated another race.

The results show his finish not an asterisks that said he had some bad luck or he would have won.

running away, umm i seen Blaney catching him every lap and by lap 34, he would of passed him. look at the laps times on the board after the race, Blaney was the fastest the last part of the race.
Life's short, race hard!!!

..."Lee collected him" ???...thats a good one, but don't even try to pin that on Lee...not sure where you were sitting, but when "Armor All Don" bounced it off the front stretch wall and turned himself THE WRONG WAY on the track, I would argue HE collected Lee...were you "following" the races one the internet ?
for your entertainment:...Schatz qualified OUTSIDE the top 10...started 2nd in his heat, passed 1 car to win that...picked the pole card for the dash, then started on the pole for the feature...passed 1 car the entire night...finished 22nd...wow, simply dominating !...
...feel better ?...
...call it anyway you want...winning the race paid $10,000, honorable mention paid $800...

Great post! Donny may or may not have won, but the FACTS are just as gasitup posted. Dale was the fastest car on the track and hunting Schatz down. Its not Dale's fault that Schatz didn't finish. I am sure Dale would have loved for Donny to have been there at the end for an exciting finish, but it didn't work out that way. Donny has benefited from others mis-fortune many, many times in his career as well.
Great race by the "Tall Cool One"!

WOW I was "following the race on the internet" thats all you can do if you aren't able to get there. And there was no mention that (Armor All Don) i like that, bounced it off the frontstretch wall, and was goin the wrong way in a oneway. and Jacobs had nowhere to go. Thanks for clearing that all up. Eyewhitness is always better than listening to some one else report.I'll just have to take back my remarks, sorry. It really did sound like Schatz was runnin pretty well and i was surprised that no one mentioned that. By the way congrats to Dale Blaney, do you know if he qualified for the extra $2000.00

Blaney was not eligible for the bonus money because he was not in the Top 20 in Attica points. I'm sure he's happy with the $10,000. Tim Shaffer picked up the $500 bonus as the highest finishing car that IS in the Top 20 in Attica points (2nd I believe).
Congrats to Dale and George - a well deserved win. As gasitup says "It's not the size of the hauler - its what you bring in it that wins the race".

I'd put Schatz up against Blaney any day. Donny just ran into some bad luck.

If Blaney had Tony Stewart's money behind him, and Schatz was the one running the low dollar car, would you still take Schatz? I wouldn't, but that's just me.
Donny is a great driver and Dale is a great driver on opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of funding. Dale is winning quite regularly in what amounts to a "local" car. He is winning All-Star championships, running (and winning) WoO races, and running right up front in crown jewel events. I think you would hard pressed to find someone in the US right now, doing as much with as little funding. It is always nice to see the underfunded teams find victory lane against the teams with millions behind them, no matter who it is!
