I'd rather see traitor Pete put a local driver in it since his last couple of chauffeurs have all been outsiders. Since Layton, Wayne Johnson and Pittman have been in it, but I can understand why Henderson is getting the ride. Finances have always been on the edge and he needs someone who can hit the ground running against the rest of the Outlaw Killers around here. Best of luck to Justin. I hope they run well so Pete can keep it going.

I say Sammy or Mark or maybe Davis or even Blaney. An engine freshened this year would help as well. A Yates Ford under the hood wouldn't hurt either. Pete better get some cars sold.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Where is it that justin henderson has the ride? If pete only has one engine justin would be better off staying where he is at. What ever happened to dennis kohler. I thought he was the crew chief for the trone team.

I think the highest bidder will get the ride, if indeed there is a ride available.

I see it's official...Henderson in the #25.

Glad to see the #25 will remain on the track. We'll see what Justin can do in a winning car.

Those constant 18th place finishes this year really warrants him getting this ride LMAO. If Layton last year, and Pittman this year can't win in it, roughly speaking.. can you really suggest it will change with Justin when he's been there a handful of months?

What the hell is the excuse gonna be from Henderson and all of his followers when he goes 0-fer the rest of the year?! Is it gonna be the car and the equipment thats lacking like the 22z? How about its the fact that PA has the best weekly racing in the nation, and he could hardly hack it back this way running Huset's and Knoxville. Enjoy the beat downs you'll be getting on a nightly occasion as the hunt for excuses begins.

Just remember the infamous, "Top 5 driver in the nation not on tour" quote that was mentioned at this time last year by a traveler of the circus.. oh how times have changed!

Wow Dave Haight is a name out of my past. My past was in the mid 80's.

Hi to all who remember those days.

man it's almost sad the way you still got it for Henderson.....

talk about not lettin' go. But I imagine you're actually hopeful he comes back to your neck of the woods so as to.....

1. increase the fading car count
2. give your report another colorful target lol.

Postupack's No. 25, despite the money issues that have been rumored for several years now, is still a step up from Steve Miller's No. 22Z. The 22Z isn't fast enough to run up front consistently, no matter who the driver is.

I am not one to hammer anyone who makes a ride happen - its a tough deal, but after reading the April 24th post from Hendersons website http://www.justinhenderson.com/Article.aspx?id=65 , I gotta ask - WTF?

4/28/2009 - For the 1st time this year Williams Grove had a time trial event which Justin felt would benefit the 22z team. Justin has always been a good qualifier and hoped it would help him gain an advantage over his fellow competitors. The track was in good shape as Justin qualified 13th quick which allowed him a decent starting spot in the heat, not the 4th row as he has grown accustomed to starting.

The next night's event at Lincoln Speedway was back to the
"handicapping" format which is supposed to even out the fields. Justin finished his heat in a qualifying spot but based on the rules, he would start the feature in the 18th spot.

Dude ask the Hall of Famer and future Hall of Famers starting behind you, what its like to do this night in night out for 20 years! Its Posseland where passing is a skill, get used to it or get the "F" outtatheway!

I really hope he runs well in the 25, but based upon his performance in the 22z compared to the last two guys (Carber and Pruitt) I am not holding my breath.

That would be a step down for Meleason from the family owned car. Chris just needs a little more good luck once in a while. But I guess if someone else is paying the bills, going fast isn't as important.
