DREW COUNTY SPEEDWAY, Monticello, AR TONIGHT! DOUG MURPHREY MEMORIAL TOMORROW NIGHT!!!

Does one night paying $5000 to win and $250 to start on just a $75 entry fee THIS SATURDAY night sound good? Well sure, but travel all the way to north Louisiana for just a one-night show? (Fast Trax Speedway is located in Chatham, Louisiana located about 30 miles southwest of Monroe or 30 miles southeast of Ruston.)

Well, if you're traveling in from the north -- eastern Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, west Tennessee -- why not make it 3 nights in a row for $7000 to win? I-30 Speedway in Little Rock is holding a USCS Modified race paying $1000 to win THIS Thursday night and Drew County Speedway in Monticello, Arkansas -- that's souteastern Arkansas on the way to Louisiana -- is doing the same thing THIS Friday night!

Then we'll see you here on Saturday:

Couple notes here....

At I-30 and Drew County, the entry fee is $25. $1000 to win and $75 to start.

No rear spoiler. Maximum 2 inch fins on the front.

Tire Rule for Rislone USCS Modifieds at I-30 Speedway: Hoosier G-60 IMCA Marked tire or American Racer KK704 in any position. NO GROOVING (May Sipe and Grind).

Now, when you get to Chatham for the Doug Murphrey Memorial,

Get your grooving iron out and rivet the spoiler back on. 5 inch maximum spoiler for everybody (no spec motor spoilers) and tire grooving IS legal for Modifieds at Fast Trax Speedway!

And guys, all 3 of these tracks are also featured on the upcoming USMTS Southern Series Speedweek Tour from June 9th to June 14th.

Tues 6/9: Tri-State Speedway, Pocala, OK (Fort Smith, AR)

Wed 6/10: I-30 Speedway, Little Rock, AR

Thur 6/11: Ark-La-Tex Speedway, Vivian, LA

Fri 6/12: Fast Trax Speedway, Chatham, LA

Sat 6/13: Drew County Speedway, Monticello, AR

Sun 6/14: Boothill Speedway, Greenwood, LA

Good time to test for that!!!

Don't want to crow too much because it's only Wednesday, but the weather is looking much better this weekend. I think racers can travel up to us this week with reasonable confidence that they won't be rained out! Cool

Mufflers required at I-30!

Here's your weekend weather:

Folks, you're going to be styling big time in that tee-shirt with this ZERO PERCENT chance of rain this weekend! When was the last time you saw ZERO chance on any Friday-Saturday-Sunday in a row?

Latest for Chatham and north central Louisiana:

Quote:
Friday - Practice - May 29
Sunny High 87°F Low 60°F
Precip: 0%
Wind: NW at 9 mph
UV Index: 10 Very High
Humidity: 55%

Saturday - Race Day - May 30
Sunny High 90°F Low 63°F
Precip: 0%
Wind: N at 3 mph
UV Index: 10 Very High
Humidity: 59%

Sunrise: 6:04 AM
Sunset: 8:11 PM Race Time 8PM!

Sunday - Travel Day - 31

Them high temps are warm for sure and the winds are light but do you know what those low temps and humidities mean during race time?

PERFCECT CONDITIONS!
