Arlington,Mn May 23, 2009 R&R Tire Shop, Midwest Wheel Cover, & 95.7 The Blaze Jackpot Junction IMCA Sprintcar Special The Night Kicked off with our first Sport Compact race of the season. Over 1,000 fans enjoyed an action packed night of racing. In the Sport Compact Class 00 Cody Schnepf from Waseca took the early lead and held off 12 Scott Porter from Madison Lake for the win. Porter took second, third went to 8 Dakota Robinson From Green Isle, fourth was 10 Brock St.John from Arlington and fifth went to 19 Briana Reierson from Arlington. In the Liberty Station Hobby A Class 81 Matt Speckman from Sleepy Eye and John Albrecht From Glencoe Started on the front row. Albrecht took the early lead seven laps into the race Speckman Passed him back to take the lead. Speckman held off 1 Adam Voss from Arlington to pick up the win. Third went to 83 Doug Falk from Plato, fourth was Albrecht, and fifth went to 19k Pat Kohn from Glencoe. In the 95.7 the Blaze Wissota Midwest Modified Class 96 Charlie Zander from Howard Lake worked his way up passing five cars to take the lead and pick up the win. Second was 74 Dustin Engelke From Lester Prarie, third was 18 Todd Farrel from Bloomington, fourth was 43 Larry Revier from Olivia, and fifth went to 22h Jim Hiller From Waseca. In the Annhilator B&B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car Class 54 Rick Mees from Eagle Lake Moved into the lead on the fourth lap and led the rest of the race picking up the win. In Second moving up five spots was 1v Joe Voss from Belle Plain, in third was 34 Jesse Anderson from Winthrop, The Hard Charger passing Ten cars to finish fourth was 87 Brent Uecker from Hutchinson, fifth went to 92 Dan Mackenthun from Hamburg. It was the First US Army Jackpot Junction IMCA Sprint car series tour race of the season. 2 Neil Stevens from Bingham Lake and 77 Brandon Allen From St. Peter started on the front row. They Jumped out in that order but on the fourth lap 77 Allen Spun in turn 2 and had to rejoin the rear of the feild. When the Race resumed Stevens led for a few more laps until 20g Chris Graaf from Glencoe passed him for the lead. On Lap 12 Stevens was running second and spun out in turn 2 and tipped the car on its side. Stevens was ok but out of the race. Graaf ended up picking up the first win of the year for the series, second went to 9 Jesse Smith from Mankato, third was 1b Brett Geldner from St. Peter, fourth went to 29 Keith Beckler from Litchfeild, and fifth was 56 Billy Johnson from St.peter. In the Minnesota 93 IMCA Modified Class The feature went start to finish with no cautions. 5 Brandon Beckendorf from Danube moved up 6 spots to take the lead on the 4th lap of the race and went on to pick up the win. Second was 33 Nick Helmbrecht from Winsted, third was 2 Chet Ragan from Eagle Lake, fourth went to 99 Paul Burger from Belle Plain, and fifth was 9 Roger Neilsen from Dolliver Iowa In the Yellow Book Hobby B class 50 Randy Reinhart from New Ulm took the early lead and held off 13x Adam Revier from Glencoe to pick up the win. 2nd was Revier, third was 72x Josh Fischer from Lafyette, fourth was 7s Shawn Harms from Green Isle and fifth was 87x Joe Provencher from Hutchinson.
