After heading back to Illinois from Knoxville Raceway May 2nd with a blown engine, Goldesberry Motorsports headed to southeastern Indiana's Lawrenceburg Speedway this past Saturday for the O'Reilly Midwest All Star Series season opener. After clocking in 13th quick out of 24 entrants, the six car invert would see the 18 year old start outside the front row of the first heat race. After bringing the Performance Truck Accessories/ Goldesberry Signs and Designs #65 home in 3rd place, Jordan would get his 13th place time back for the A-Main. The 2007 Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders Rookie of the Year proceded to use the high side of the track to pick up 10 spots to ultimately finish 3rd.
The team will stay close to home this upcoming weekend, as Friday night the bright yellow racer will be pushed off at the Sprint Invaders stop at Jacksonville, Illinois' Morgan County Speedway. Two days later the team will head to the eastern edge of Morgan County and Alexander, Illinois' Shepp's Speedway for an unsanctioned sprint race.
