Will ASCS Gulf South SPRINT CARS or SUPR LATE MODELS bring the most cars? This is a competition all it's own! See latest post. Meanwhile, Mods race for $1000 to win and 100 to start with NO entry fee and just a $35 pit pass! Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas presents this Memorial Day Extravaganza!!!

ASCS Gulf South Sprint Cars have averaged just under 35 cars through their first 7 events of 2009 but only 30 showed in Willis, Texas last night. That event was won by Skip Wilson of Mesquite, Texas with point leader and former Southern Outlaw Wing 600 star Aaron Reutzel of Clute, Texas getting second.
The SUPR Late Models have averaged over 30 cars so far THIS WEEKEND! 29 at Paris on Friday night won by Baytown, Texas's Kevin Sitton with Louisiana's Lee Davis, 2nd. Then 32 last night in Minden, Louisiana with Monroe, Louisiana racer Kenny Merchant -- who runs Lone Star extremely well -- taking that win.
So, which series will have the most cars at Lone Star tonight? Come on out and see for yourself!
