NCRA Announces Memorial Day Addition for Sprints
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - May 11, 2009 - Park City, Kansas - Officials with the O'Reilly/National Championship Racing Association announced Sunday night the addition of one more race on the 360 sprint car schedule. This event will take place on Memorial Day Monday night, May 25th, in a return trip to 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas.
With a non-NCRA sanctioned $10,000 to win "Steve King Memorial" event taking place at the Jetmore Motorplex in Jetmore, Kansas the previous two evenings, this addition to the 2009 NCRA sprint car schedule will give the top sprint car drivers in the region and sprint car fans just one more event to attend.
Tony Bruce, Jr. of Liberal, Kansas will come into the event with a 35 point lead over Talala, Oklahomas Zach Chappell.
The O'Reilly/NCRA sprint car division is in the midst of their 20th anniversary season for 2009. For more information on the series, including up to the date point standings, schedules, driver profiles and history statistics, check them out at http://www.ncraracing.org/. To schedule an event, climb aboard as contingency sponsor or for more information, contact the series office (316) 755-1781.
