After eighteen year old Jordan Goldesberry's first ever visit to the fabled Knoxville Raceway was cut short by engine failure on the opening lap of the 360 class C-main this past Saturday evening, the Springfield racer looks to rebound as the team makes the trek to southeastern Indiana's Lawrenceburg Speedway for the O'Reilly's Midwest All Star Series season opener.
The following weekend will see the Redline Oil, PPG, K & N Filters, NGK Spark Plugs #65 Eagle Chassis in competition closer to the team's central Illinois base, as Jordan will drop in to race with the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders at Jacksonville, Illinois Morgan County Speedway on Friday May 15. Goldesberry is no stranged to the SIA series, having picked up the Rookie of the Year award with the Iowa based 360 series in 2007. Jordan will then return to 410 class competition as Alexander, Illinois' Shepp's Speedway hosts its first ever winged sprint car race on Sunday, May 17.
