Donny Schatz (9th car out to time) set quick time at a blistering 14.592 seconds. He was followed by Danny Lasoski (16th car out), Jason Sides (1st), Jac Haudenschild (31st), Terry McCarl (23rd), Brian Brown (6th), Joey Saldana (11th), Steve Kinser (35th), Lynton Jeffrey (36th) and Randy Hannagan (37th). Lucas Wolfe and Don Droud Jr. both failed to get times in and underwent engine changes.

Schatz made a great move to get by Jeffrey and Meyers in turns one and two on the first circuit and checked out. The best racing was for the final transfer, which Madsen held for a few laps in the middle of the race. McCarl battled back by and Dollansky made a late bid as well.

When Landis was penalized a row for jumping a start, Brown assumed the pole and led the 8-lapper flag to flag. W. Johnson made a late move by Landis for the final transfer.

Brahmer and Alley contacted, resulting in Brahmer getting upside down on the frontstretch. J. Johnson led the duration. Alley brought out the only caution when he stopped short of the pit gate on lap six.

Jackson led the first lap before S. Kinser took control. Haudenschild stole second and a trip to the dash from Jackson in the late stages. Kaeding's run from outside row five saved him a trip to the C main.

Anderson broke a torsion bar on the right rear and retired early. Crall led flag to flag after restarting in the front row. Schneiderman held off Wolfe for the final transfer.

Brown led flag to flag in the 6-lapper, registering his first career dash win. S. Kinser was the prime mover, improving his feature starting spot two rows.

Madsen led the 12-lapper in the early going before coming to a stop on lap eight. Landis assumed the lead, but Dollansky had charged from row five to second the restart and took the point. Herrera also made a mad charge into a transfer. Swindell exited while smoking on lap two. Alley and Schneiderman also bowed out early.

The 25-lapper was a thriller up front. Brown took the early lead and pulled away in clean air. Bruce slowed to a stop on lap six, bringing out the caution. Brown led McCarl, a surging Schatz, Lasoski and S. Kinser back to green flag racing. Brown jumped the cushion a couple of times and on lap 15, McCarl stormed by into the lead. Six laps later, McCarl was stuck behind the lapped machine of Zomer, and Schatz made the winning move. A white flag caution for Bruce set up a duel to the end but Schatz held off McCarl and Brown. S. Kinser passed Brown on the last lap to make the podium. Dollansky was the hard charger, with Honorable Mention to Kaeding and Herrera. Twenty cars were running at the conclusion of the race.

Russell led early, but Humston was charging on the high side and took over on lap four of the 7-lapper. The pass was negated when contact between Carroll and Thornburg, who upended brought a red flag. Thornburg was uninjured. Humston repeated his pass on the restart, and Corbin followed suit into second.

It took awhile to get things started and only four cars finished this event. Anderson flipped after contact with Kennedy when the green fell. He was unhurt. After Sutton was sent to the back for jumping on the next try at a start, the next attempt saw he and Petersen contacting, resulting in the 16P backing into the wall. Selvage dropped out while smoking on lap five, and Bergman and Kennedy also would eventually exit. Sutton came back from the rear to third, while Covington led the distance ahead of Knoxville first-timer Wagoner.

Agan led the distance from the pole. There was good racing for fourth between Bacon and Dobesh much of the way. Cornell passed Dobesh on the last corner for fifth, but all would head to the B.

Roberts led the distance, as he and Garner separated from the pack. This was a stacked heat with last year's Huset's champ, last year's Knoxville driver champ, last year's owner champ, and last year's WOW champ all headed to the B.

Bakker rode the low groove to the win. Houseman Jr. made a power move by RJ Johnson and Thompson with two laps to go to capture third and an A transfer.

Mather led the duration in his own machine for the first time in several years. Long grabbed a transfer with a last lap pass of Morgan. Lenz and D. Hall finished side by side, leaving it to the transponders. Meyer exited on lap five.

Van Haaften led early in the 6-lapper. Beaver passed him on a lap two restart after a caution for Goldesberry. Selvage applied late heat for the last transfer to no avail.

Russell led early in the 10-lapper. The battle for the final transfer developed between Bacon and Morgan who had battled on USAC tracks the last couple of years and now find themselves in winged machines. Bacon utilized the low side with Morgan up high. After a slow start, Giannetto and Moro came on to apply pressure to no avail. Bacon hit the switch with two to go, clearing Grosz, Rosenboom and finally Russell on the last lap for a thrilling win.

Covington made a bonsai move past Bakker and Sutton to lead lap one, but it was brought back when Mosher stopped in turn one. It mattered not, as Covington repeated the exact same move when the 15-lapper restarted. The only stoppage in the event came on lap three when Long got upside down on the frontstretch after contact with Corbin. He was uninjured. Covington led Sutton, Bakker, Roberts and Humston back to green flag racing, and pulled away. Garner began to assert himself and pick cars off one at a time, while the leader built his margin and entered traffic. The 19 year old held on, despite a late charge by Garner to win his first ever sprint car feature. Garner earned hard charger honors for his efforts.
