Just heard the Front Row Challenge during Iowa speedweeks is going with All Star sanction. Just wondering why. Is the purpose not to make money? I'm sure the sanction involves a lot more payout, than if the race was independant. Most of the cars that would race that race are in the area already for the Nationals. Any thoughts or comments.

I wouldn't know for sure but I imagine it would involve number one, a set of rules for equipment to go by and number two, possibly for insurance. Just my guess. I imagine there is a lot more involved in the decision.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

The All Stars are a solid group with a steller driver lineup this year. This will be a good thing as it can only pull in more drivers. Plus, the WoO drivers are familar with the All Star groups as they run with them from time to time.

Another advantage of a sanction is that when promoters pay for advertising in papers, on the radio and television they can advertise that the drivers running for points in that series will be there. Tracks can get out of paying the sanction fee by going unsanctioned but that decision does come with a certain measure of uncertainty.

I would bet that the all stars begged t-mac, and it is show up points only would not surprise me if usac done same thing for tuesday, both those events are some of the top events for all stars and usac and much like the stn the series needs event more than event needs those series I think I know am am very seriously thinking about not going, because of all star owners past business deals
