The 2009 Central Concrete Arlington Raceway Season Opener took place Saturday April 25th, we had nearly 100 cars competing in 6 divisions. Saturday was a cool cloudy day making it possible to get moisture in the track to make a real fast racing surface. The first race of the Night was the Liberty Station Hobby A. The 00 car of Brad Schnepf and 33 Ben Enter were the lucky ones that drew the front row. Ben Enter from New Ulm took the early lead. The 16 car feild made it the complete 15 laps with out having a single caution makin it a quick race with alot of door to door racing. The 74 car of Tim Pessek From Hutchinson Started in the rear of the feild after having mechanical problems in the heat. The team certainly got the issues figured out and moved consistantly through the feild to finish 4th. With just a few Laps to go the 72 car of Chris Isaacson from New Ulm passed Ben Enter for the lead and went on to win the feature followed by Ben Enter, Brad Schnepf held on to 3rd and Adam Voss From Arlington Started and finished 5th. In Our 95.7 the Blaze Wissota Midwest Modified class we had a great feild of cars 19m of Dan Menk from Franklin and 23s John Schuelke from Burnsville had the pole.
