It's a pretty spring Sunday and one of the best shows on dirt is in town tonight at Boothill Speedway in Greenwood (just west of Shreveport!).
The United States Modified Touring Series will headline the evening along with USRA Southern Limited Modifieds and Factory Stocks/Cruisers -- just 3 classes in all which should still bring in over 100 cars in all!
The good news is that with a 6:30 start time, you wanna bet you're out of their by 10PM? The goal is 9:30. We want an exciting, no intermission, no delay 3 hour show like the one we did in 2007. USMTS/USRA promoter Todd Staley and company need to head back to Iowa as soon as possible because they have to be in Ardmore, Oklahoma on Friday to start another race weekend. This is a professional group of racing officials that put on fast moving shows folks so if you have to work tomorrow, don't worry, we'll get you home in time to get plenty of rest!
Chance of rain moves in after midnight but we're good till then so come on out. There have been over 50 USMTS Modifieds at the Friday and Saturday shows this weekend and over 25 USRA Southern Limited Modifieds at each one. The Factory Stock class is very healthy car count wise and we're expecting a good crop of them at 'The Hill" as well.
To get there, just take I-20 to exit 3 -- that's the first Louisiana exit coming from Texas or the last one as you're headed west at the Texas/Louisiana state line. Go north, cross the railroad tracks, turn right and follow the signs to the fastest family fun on the region! For going on 5 decades now, 'If You Wanna Race, The Hill's The Place!!!'
