Just wanted to remind you guys.
May 1st. So far over 15 cars have pre-registered and 20+ are expected to show.
Here is a breakdown of the rules.
No Pro-4s (tube chassis) & no Aluminum Heads
If you don't run @ Creek County, Tri-State, or Crawford County Speedway then pick the set of rules that resembles what you have. If you have an aluminum body don't worry about it, just make sure you make the weight.
If you run @ Creek County Speedway then run by their rules.
2300 lb weight minimum
Non-Ported Head & Intake
Solid Lifter OK
No Rollers
Stock type Chassis & Suspension
If you run @ Tri-State or Crawford County Speedway you'll probably go by Crawford County Rules
2400 lb weight minimum
Port n Polish OK
Rollers OK
Torque Arm or Panhard Bar OK
They are going to run this race and see how competetive the Creek County guys are going to be w/ the 100 lb weight break. The plan is to run it like this and if there is a big difference in competetition then the next time they run (looking at once a month) to alter the weight minimums a bit.
So far the Creek County cars have been very competitive and won a couple of races at the "Specials" raced over the past couple of years so it's thought that these rules are fairly accurate in keeping the cars together for fair racing.
