We run our car tight. The more split you have the more steer you will have. I know Smileys suggests with their Sportmod to run a 850 left and a 1000 right. Just remember what might be good for us might not be so good for you.

Has anyone checked this week to see what right front spring weight is legal? I can't believe we haven't changed it again.
If you cut the stub frame off a modified and turned it upside down and rewelded it, would it still be legal? Stan Schoenberg did it back in the 1960's and it worked. I think we need to change the rules for the sprint cars and require a spec right front torsion bar. If a 900 bar was required in the right front, the car would turn better when the frame rail dug in. It was light blue and he called it the Cable Car.
If we required the sprint cars to run Atlas butyl tires on the rear, then it wouldn't matter how wide the rear wheels where.
