You are such an ass. Go away. Go somewhere and dry up, no one on here needs to read your crap. Although it kind of does make for good comical reading.

That's funny that you say that, because there were actually 5 Wilmot cars in the A-main on Saturday out of the 10 that were there. I would say that's pretty damn good considering more than half of them have never ran a half mile.

I would suggest thinking things through before you open your mouth next time Strange, because it just makes you look more and more stupid every time you do. Every caution at Dodge County on Saturday was caused by an IRA regular. I'm sorry who slowed up the show?

Do us all a favor and stay home and find a new sport. There might be some nice golf forums you can wreck havic on. I'm sure they would love it.

hey brother. we've saw eye to eye on some things and you have supported my ability in the past. i learned at wilmot. the guys at wilmot in previous years have only been able to race 10 to 12 nites a year at the same track for a promotor that would take wind out of aanyone sales. talent is thin all over. thats why the good guys are the good guys. it's called experience and dollars. the majority of the wilmot cars have neither. the one that do will show up. it's a whole differant ball game when you start to travel some. i got my ass handed to me when i first hit the outlaw gig, but i got more competive by trying, and eventually beat all of them at one point in time. i nevr gave up, and thats all these racers are doing. dont hate on guys that are trying to live there dream. the drivers with experience know who to look out for and if you are racing in the same pack with the squirells ur gonna get ur nuts cracked. thats racing. randy hannaigan is a proffesinal and he screwed up and damn near killed me for good. i saw mark kinser spin when he was leading. dont be so hard on people that are out there bustin the ass in a sport they love.

peace and love

Kurt thanks. i should have mentioned you with Travis and Reinke and them. You are one of the best from the region.

as far as Wilmot goes, i don't wanna rip on them. it's these idiots on here trying to tell me that i really need to give these guys all kinds of credit. RaceGirl was trying to gloat about how these Wilmot guys did so well. well, for one, who is actually considered a Wilmot guy that was there on Saturday. Sexton has been running with the IRA for quite a while now. he seems to have good equipment and has shown signs of being really good. same with Hafemann i believe.

when i go pay 18 to 35 bucks for a high level 410 show, that's what i wanna see. sorry, but i'm sure many others fell the same way.

I was in no way telling you who to cheer for or give credit too. I was simply sticking up for something I believe in. I was giving my own personal congratulations to a close friend. I was giving my buddies props for stickin with it through the negativity.

I am a fan of Sprint Car Racing. Not just the IRA, WoO, or WOS.

If you would actually take a second to look at what I wrote you would see that I was not gloating. I was giving them credit for going out and trying to race when their home track is in a tough spot.
You can blame a guy for going out there and tryin it out.

I want to know what someone that wants to start racing sprint cars has to do. If they can't run with the IRA cuz "they ruin the show," where are they suppose to run?? Wilmot is not open every week anymore.

Don't fall for this stuff 2 weeks in a row or it's gonna be a real long season.......

Glad to have all 37 cars that were at Dodge last week, or any week. I'm glad they chose IRA to race with. Most of the 37 on hand are IRA members for 09. I appreciate those that are giving the IRA schedule, including new places to them like Dodge Co a try. They'll get better everytime they run there and the experience gained will help them at several other tracks IRA competes at. It's not a us versus them thing, it's a race period. I think it's a major positive having the entire 410 contingent together when within a few hours, that is what I hope sets the tone in the future thus keeping car & fan count strong and allows us to sustain and hopefully enhance our program down the road. There will be those that travel with IRA outside that market, and those that prefer to remain in that radius and I believe those options will be available again in the future. Personally I was thrilled with the support and positive feedback I've received thus far regarding our 09 campaign. IRA is tremendously fortunate to have the solid base we've had and continue to have, and I think once some of these new teams see what it's all about, we'll pick some up on a more full time basis. For others it's great to have them support a IRA race whenever they choose to. It's no different than the support we get from several teams that always support us each season when we go north or west and into "their radius".

We have something extremely special here, and that is fact. The overall benefits of being a 75% IRA member are some of the best in the entire sprint car industry, period.... and overall far greater than several more highly publicized regions and sanctions. I'm keepin' it positive, because it is positive and more importantly it is fact.

I just strongly suggest not being drawn into these type threads as it's just gonna keep them happening. I'm glad fans have an opinion, positive or constructive....but don't get dragged down certain devisive roads as that is the exact intent.

Looking forward to yet another great IRA season.....

Thanks...

imagine if i could race full time in stellar equipment. dont worry i get forgotten about most of the time. wink

racegirl i'm not sure if i should take your as a compliment or as a snide comment. " i may have made sense" it all makes sense. pick word carefully they all have a meaning. my grammer make you actully slow down and read a post insted of fluffing thru it. penn state used to get made at me too, but i graduated from ther no problem. wink

like steve says were all sprint car drivers/owners/fans trying to survive in an economy that major corporations are dieing in. personally i dont like all the segragation. were all sprints cars. some people are just better for whatever reason. when i used to complain to my here(dad) about the slow car being in the way he quickly reminded me that i was one of them at one time and we all have to start somewhere. he also said if there was no slow guys there would be no fast guys. it takes all kinds in this sport and the ira and wilmot has always supported the blue collar low budget racer. at the sake of being bias and sounding arrogant my dad did a lot for both sanctions, but he chose to stay at wilmot for his fam. he ran around those pits making sure all the bolts were tite and the rite set ups were on the cars. it didn't matter if you were a customer or not. it was just a man trying to help people fullfill there dreams and in doing so it helped create a more competetive field of cars. "your only as good as you competition" thats what he always said and drived to move up when i could. encouragement go a long way. wink

leave a good name and a legacy behind. then die ;) and
then cum back to life! now thats living baby! do a
good dead and help your neighbor. dream as if you live
forever and live as if you'll die today. always
remember where you came from. ;)
