Anyone know what happened to Mark Workentine & Jon Mailwald? They both have raced in the GSC the past few years but are "no-shows" in 2009? Are they taking a break from sprint car racing this year? I think Jason Botsford moved to the south and is racing taxi cabs on dirt.

The last I heard, Jon was running a very limited schedule this year. Also, his website has been taken down.

I think Jon crashed at the mini, and might be back for Ocean.

Mark races boats, blown fuel hydros, as well as sprint cars and will be out to some of our races but he is not planning on running the full schedule.
