1. Jerry Coons Jr. 2.Dave Darland 3.Jesse Hockett from 18th.It was heated battle between Coons and Sweet until Sweet flipped down the back stretch.Darren Hagen went for a wild ride in between 3 and 4.Wondering if anyone had an update on him.

I was at attica last night so I didn't see any of the eldora race, but I heard Hagan had a partially collapsed lung. I don't know if there is any truth to that. Sounds like there was a lot of wild rides last night. How was the track and racing??????????

Track was excellent, in my opinion. Big, thick cushion up close to the wall with a little bit of moisture down low to aid in slide-jobs.
Coons, Sweet, and Levi raced hard up front while Hockett was racing from the back. Hockett was probably the fastest car before clobbering the backstretch well and breaking the jacobs ladder.
Sweet was right on Coons as they took the white and looked ready for a race-winning slider in turn three, but he got up in the turn 2 cushion and sucked the front-end into the wall, flipping down across the track and collecting Hines.
Darland took a while to get going, but he was hauling at the end. Brady Short ran the middle to finish fifth. Clauson was up front most of the race and looked good before getting into the wall and dropping back.
Brett Burdette & Damion Gardner also turned over on the backstretch somewhat hard. Small incidents led to tipovers by Robb (making his USAC debut) and Whitt.
