Jerry prob wont race there because he was supposed to get around 2 or 3000 in points found money he never got. I would be a little mad to. I miss racing against him though because he makes me faster. Hacker and Roach are always missed by fans and racers. Good guys!

thats what I was told also, Jerry didnt get any point fund money, so he was racing else where. I dont remember hacker racing last year, Roach did a couple of times and even climbed in a sportmod but didnt fare so well.

We shouldnt be bashing anyone for racing elsewhere, its all about how you are treated at your track. If a person feels they have been done wrong or that the track doesnt care anymore then travelling to race is the only other option, Its rather fun to get out there on the road and have a good time.

Hacker and Roach have been racing the USMTS tour, there is a good 7 page article about them in the November 2009 issue of Dirt Modified. http://www.dirtmodifiedmagazine.com/

Thanks, Charles

One says hacker sold out another says he's still racing. Thats the reason I dont really trust anything on here unless I have seen it with my own eyes. Really dont care if they are or are not. In my opion one of them is a royal a-hole that thinks he is better then most. Not going to say a name but jmo.

i believe the issue must be old.... Im fairly sure that roach sold all of his stuff last year,. I believe that jeremy green bought all his racing toys. I will check to see if Im correct. I know this, I follow the USMTS Series on the internet and go when they are fairly close and I havent seen either one of them drivers in the standings yet this year. Are you sure that article isnt from 2007, i believe they tried racing that series back then.

Darrin or Roach havent raced in two years. Both of them sold there pull rigs. Roach had a red enclosed and Landen Maddox has it now. Thats old news but both drivers are missed. Them boys could wheel a car.

You are correct, the article I referred to talks about how Mike Roach, Darren Hacker and Marty Phillips recruited Brandon Kenny, Derek Ramirez and Bryan Rowland. The article does not say anything about if Roach or Hacker are still racing, I'm surprised that such great drivers may not be racing anymore. Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks, Charles

Is this the same Hacker that raced pro stocks at State Fair Speedway a few years back? I think he also had some connection to the Allen group. If so, why leave the Fairgrounds and go racing in Enid.

Again all I can say is Enid has always had a good Racin heritage! It's a shame that car count is so low, maybe if Enid had a racing assoc. some of these issues could be addressed as a group. But dont follow the lead of other Assoc. to limit it to Public Relations only. Work with the Promoter to increase the car count or find someway to make them listen. How many new Teams are there this year? It seems like at SFS there is always some new ones commin in to replace the old ones going out. JMO

There is absolutely nothing wrong with traveling to race.

Here is example, if you have a modified or sportmod and want to be able to compete with the best then you have to go run against the best. I believe in the sportmods that means you have to go to TEXAS and race against the best to improve your own knowledge and skills. If you have a modified then you have to get out and compete in some series (NCRA, USMTS, IMCA) so you can improve your knowledge and skills. This is for the racer who wants to be able to compete with the best, if a person is happy racing the same track week in and week out then there is nothing wrong with that either!!! It all depends upon each individual racer and they should never be criticized for how they decide to play.....

My point to all this, lets dont bash anyone who doesnt want to race at a certain track.

This isnt for anything said on here but for something that was told to me earlier this week.

Hacker did run a prostock in the city a few times, it was the same streetstock he ran in the 10,000 to win shows at Enid.

Jimmy,

Did you read my POST?

I clearly said it had nothing to do with what was said in the thread but with something that was said to me earlier in the week!!!

Have you heard about the new dirt track going in down by el reno?

I was in woodward on thursday and noticed a lot of construction going on at crystalbeach. I dont know if they are bringing the track back or not but they are completely renovating the grand stands and what was done was extremely nice. I mean like wow!!!
