It's been a few weeks, and everyone's had a chance to calm down a little. As far as Knoxville drawing pills for the 410's instead of timing I think it was a little blown out of proportion. From my understanding they will only draw the 410's two nights. Most likely those nights will be Twin Features night and the Hall of Fame night. The reason being is both of those nights can get lengthy so in an effort to speed up the program they will night have time trials. Also, possibly 2-4 nights they will have 4 car group qualifying. They may also have 1 lap qualifying some nights. It was said previously that the teams will not know whats going on until they sign in for that night. Not true. The teams will be notified the week prior on the qualifying format for the next week.
So we'll see how these changes work. Basically everyone is at the same advantage/disadvantage, Nodust can get home at a decent time, and no one will forget how to time trial. I'm just getting anxious to see how it all plays out. Should be a great season!

Its amazing that teams quit, people call for the firing of the entire Fair Board, and eveybody in general freaks out...everyone relax and let the season unfold...Knoxville is doin just fine...Savage, next time I'm in Dingus I'll buy you a "bomb"...

I'm still calling for the firing of the fairboard
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!
